Janie Mae Gilreath Conwell, 87, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2012. She was born on January 29, 1925 to Andy and Ruth Davis Gilreath in Wheeling W.V. She worked for many years at Ila Manufacturing as a seamstress.
Mrs. Conwell is preceded in death by 2 brothers. She is survived by her children Regina Baughcum, Colbert; Jerry Conwell, Ila; Larry Conwell, Monroe; 4 sisters, 2 brothers, 9 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, December 3, 2012 from 11:00 until 2:00 PM. Graveside services will be held Monday, December 3, 2012 at 2:00 PM in Meadow Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Steve Cole officiating
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Quite Oaks Nursing Home.
Lord and Stephens, Danielsville is in charge of arrangements.
