Janice Annette Smith

Janice Annette Smith, 71, of Eatonton, formerly of Winterville, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023.

Born in Athens, she was the daughter of Roy Lee Smith and Jeanette Epps Smith. Janice retired from Athens Regional Medical Center after more than 30 years of employment. She was an avid fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves and she enjoyed watching wrestling. Janice also enjoyed camping and loved spending time at the beach. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Smith.

Survivors include her brother, Ronnie Smith (Lynn) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Thursday, October 5, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Lord and Stephens, East. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
