Janice Meadow Farris

Janice Meadow Farris, 69, wife of Bill Farris, died Saturday, September 26, 2015. Born in Athens, she was the daughter of the late Bill and Florine Meadow and mother to the late Suzanne Nash. Janice retired from the Georgia Center at the University of Georgia. In addition to her husband, survivors include her brother: Bill Meadow; and family brothers and sisters in law: Lynn and Jerry Pruitt, Dawn and Ronnie Balkom, Jon and Christina Farris, numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles. A memorials service will be heldMonday, October 5, 2015 at 3PM at Lord and Stephens Danielsville Chapel with Scott Brown officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Colbert United Methodist Church or the Rotary Club of Madison County Ramp Fund.
