Janet Welch Fortner

Janet Welch Fortner, 61, died Sunday, March 13, 2022. Born in Athens, she was preceded in death by her father, Carl Welch, step father, Jackson Yarborough and sister, Brenda Gabriel. Survivors include her mother, Mildred Lester Yarborough, daughter, Vara (Josue Vasquez) Loggins; grandsons: Ali Mazariegos and Nick Sojo; sister: Carol Welch; special friend: Gerardo Padilla and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at 4PM at Lord and Stephens East Chapel.
