Jane Deloris Slay

Jane Deloris Slay, 72, died May 14, 2012.
A native of Athens, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Janie Strickland Nunnally. She retired as manager of the University of Georgia Bookstore after thirty years and was a member of East Athens Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include her husband, George Slay; sister and brother-in-law, Peggy J. (Mike) Murphy of Daytona Beach, FL; several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the St. Mary's Hospital staff of the fifth floor for their care and concern.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
