Athens - Jane Offer Lewis, 85, wife of the late Floyd L. Lewis, died Saturday, November 5, 2005 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Born in Springfield, Illinois, Jane had lived in the Athens area for 21 years. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Nell Saxer Offer and was also preceded in death by an infant daughter. She attended Tuckston United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her children and their (spouses); Dr. George (Vicki) Lewis of Athens and Nancy (David) Burkhart of California, brother, Eugene Offer of Decatur, IL, grandchildren, Christopher Long, Christina Thompson Fields, Joshua Lewis, Kathleen Lewis and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at a later date in Springfield, IL.
