James H. "Jim" Westmoreland, Jr

Dallas, GA - James H. Westmoreland, Jr., 54, passed away on the afternoon of Nov. 23, 2011. Jim was born in Fredricksburg, VA on August 16, 1957, the son of James H. Sr., and Harriet Dickins Westmoreland of Algood, TN. He graduated from Westview High School in Martin, TN, was a Marine Corps veteran, and a graduate of University of Tennessee-Martin. Jim has been a long time employee of Lockheed Martin. He was an active volunteer with the B.E.S.T Robotics and the F.I.R.S.T Robotics organizations.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Terresa Westmoreland, sons James H Westmoreland III (Brandi) of Greenville SC, and Joshua K. Westmoreland (Amy) of Panama City Beach, FL, siblings, Bob Westmoreland (Ginger) of Bethel Springs, TN and Kristen Stennett (Rick) of Meridianville, AL, one grandchild, Audrey Caroline and another due in March, multiple nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, November 28, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Lord & Stephens Chapel, West with Rev. Bill Ricketts officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 AM preceding the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to MDS-Foundation.org, The American Cancer Society cancer.org or charity of their choice.
