James "Jim" Franklin Tumblin, Jr., 62, formerly of Rome, died February 4, 2009.
A native of Laurens, SC, he was a son of the late Willie Mae Smith and James Franklin Tumblin, Sr. He was owner and operator of J. & B. Heating and Air in Rome for many years and was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara June Wood Tumblin.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 10, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel, 2516 New Calhoun Hwy, Rome, GA 30161.
Survivors include his daughter, Tonya Trapp of Athens, GA; son, Trippy Tumblin of Watkinsville, GA; brother, Charlie Tumblin of Rome, GA; two grandchildren, Zac Trapp and Max Tumblin.
Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
