James Lonnie Stone, III

James Lonnie Stone, III, 75, husband of the late Lennie Cornelia Dees Stone, died on September 4, 2022. Born in Dillon, SC, he was the son of the late James Lonnie Stone, Jr. and Helen Moody Stone. He was preceded in death by two daughters Sandra and Denise and siblings, Shirley and David.  Mr. Stone had worked for CSX Transportation as a Bridge Foreman and retired after 35 years. Survivors include his children: David Stone, Shannon Osburn and Raymond Osburn; sisters: Suzie Thornton and Patty Batten; nine grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren.
