James Edward Scott, 45, died March 6, 2010.
A native of Jasper County, GA, he was a son of Ray and Altheia O'Neal Scott of Rutledge, GA. He was employed with Georgia Pacific and was active with Oconee County Little League.
Funeral services will be Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, WEST. Interment will be in Willoughby Cemetery.
Survivors in addition to his parents include his wife, Robin J. Scott; three children, Mary Beth Scott, Christopher Scott and Patricia Scott, all of Watkinsville, GA; sister, Pamela Scott; three stepbrothers, David Scott, John Scott and Ronnie Scott, all of Madison, GA.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Ed Scott Memorial Fund, c/o North Georgia Bank, PO Box 1499, Watkinsville, GA 30677.
Lord and Stephens, WEST, is in charge of arrangements.
