James Marvin Ruark

James Marvin Ruark, 74, died Monday, May 4, 2015. He was born in Morgan County, Georgia, to Rupert Deward Ruark and Ellie Mae Kinney Ruark. Marvin lived in Watkinsville, where he worked as a carpenter building homes in his community. Marvin is survived by his wife, Carol Davis Ruark and his children Ricky Brewer (Suzanne) of Gainesville, Jay Ruark (Betty) of Waynesville, MO, Paul Ruark (Tracey) of Homer, Scottie Ruark of Winder, Chris Ruark (Tanya) of Maxey, Ernie Ruark (Jennifer), Chad Ruark, and Elizabeth Anglin (Daniel) all of Watkinsville, one brother, David Ruark of Bishop, and a sister Ann Mobley, of Winder, along with numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and four brothers. The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 6, 2015 from 6 to 8 at Lord & Stephens West. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 11AM in the chapel of Lord & Stephens West with burial following in Bostwick GA. Lord & Stephens West is in charge of arrangements.
