James D. (Jimmy) McGinnis, 63, of Danielsville, Ga. died Thursday January 6, 2011. He was the son of the late Raymond Dudley McGinnis and Florene Eberhart McGinnis.
Funeral services will be Sunday January 9, 2011 at Lord and Stephens Madison Chapel at 2:00 PM with Rev. Don Fuller and Rev. Brad Wilson officiating. Interment will be at Colbert Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-5 PM on Saturday January 8, 2011 at the funeral home.
Survivors include wife, Linda Wigley McGinnis; children Neal (Michele) McGinnis and Kimberly McGinnis; mother, Florene McGinnis; brother, David (Diane) McGinnis; grandchildren Molli and Micah McGinnis.
Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to St Mary's Hospice Ste 200C, 1500 Oglethorpe Avenue Athens, GA 30606-2165 or Colbert First Baptist Church Building Fund P.O. Box 318 Colbert, GA 30628.
