James Carey Marable

James Carey Marable, 83, died April 10, 2018.
A native and longtime resident of Maxeys, GA, he was a son of the late James Robert and Sarah Evans Marable. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Phillip Marable and sister, June M. Smith. He retired from Westinghouse after thirty-one years and was a member of the Howard Masonic Lodge #138 in Maxeys.
Graveside services will be held Friday, April 13, 2018 at 7:00 PM at Sunset Cemetery.
Survivors include two brothers, Leon Roy Marable and Thomas Marable; two sisters, Sarah M. Whited and Ruth M. Daniell; a number of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
