James Marion Lance Sr

James Marion Lance, Sr., 86, died October 14, 2017.
A native of Jackson County, GA, he was a son of the late Everett R. and Effie Lowe Lance and was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores Norris Lance in 2006. Mr. Lance retired from Coca-Cola Bottling Co. and also Custom Audio Distributors. He was a member of Beech Haven Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 4:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, WEST. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include his son and daughter- in-law, James M., Jr. and Marisol Lance; two grandchildren, James M. Lance, III and Katherine Ann Lance.
Flowers are optional. Memorial contributions may be made to Beech Haven Baptist Church, 2390 West Broad Street, Athens, GA 30606.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, WEST, is in charge of arrangements.
