A lifelong resident of this area, he was the son of James N. and Betty Jo Scoggins Kilpatrick of Watkinsville.
The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 until 7:00 PM at Oconee Chapel, Hwy 53, Watkinsville.
Survivors in addition to his parents include his son, Matt Kilpatrick of Watkinsville.
Oconee Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
