James Cooper Jones Jr., 85, of Watkinsville died Tuesday, November 10, 2015.
Born in Valdosta, GA to the late James Cooper Jones Sr., and Elsie Stone Jones. James is survived by his wife, Barbara Z. Jones, son, James Cooper III, sister, Margaret Jones Langdale, nephew, John Wesley Langdale Jr., and nieces, Lee Langdale Mikuta and Margaret E. Langdale, and his beloved cat, Oscar Jones.
James was a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, and was a lay minister at St. Gregory the Great Episcopal Church.
A memorial service will be held at St. Gregory the Great on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 11 AM.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
