James Milton "Jim" Haagen

Jim Haagen, 73, died Tuesday, November 19, 2013. A native of Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Charles Wellington Haagen and Violet Grace Goodman Haagen. He was self-employed paint and body shop owner. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers: Bob and Charles Haagen.
Survivors include his children and their spouses: Rusty (Sandy) Haagen of Ila, Todd (Tammy) Haagen of Ila, Judy (Doug) Nelms of Athens; sisters and brothers: Bill Haagen, Grace Hauer, Ruth Taggart, Sylvia Orell, Naomi Capaldi, Ray Haagen, Dorothy Steinback, Joan Ryan; five grandchildren: Blake Haagen, Elizabeth Haagen, Rhett Vanderford, Russ Haagen and Avery Nelms. A memorial service will be held Thursday, November 21, 2013 at 7PM at Lord & Stephens Danielsville Chapel with Rev. Tim Peak officiating. The family will receive friends two hour prior to the service. Lord & Stephens Danielsville is in charge of arrangements.
