James Len Graham

March 21, 1950 — October 17, 2014

James Len Graham, 64, died October 17, 2014.
Born in Elbert County, he was the son of Jenny Graham of Colbert and the late James P. Graham. Mr. Graham was retired from the Granite Industry after more than thirty years of employment in the Elberton area. He was an active and dedicated member of Vineyard's Creek Baptist Church where he had served as both Deacon and Sunday School Teacher for many years. He was happiest spending time with his family and friends playing golf, hunting and fishing. He will be remembered as a kind, optimistic gentleman with a big heart.
Funeral services will be Monday, October 20, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Vineyard's Creek Baptist Church with Revs. Gerald Hunt and Billy Meeks officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife of forty-two years, Mary Martin Graham; daughter, Leah Graham (Billy) King of Danielsville; sister, Sheila Graham of Carlton; four grandchildren, Logan, Brayden, Annalee and Baylee King; a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Martin, Adam Martin, Jeff Roberts, David Thompson, David McCannon and Dennis Hart. Honorary pallbearers will be Deacons of Vineyard's Creek Baptist Church: Phil Thomas, Randy Hart, Danny Martin, Larry Broome, Howard Strickland, Goss Cooper and Aubrey Thomas.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Vineyard's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Lord and Stephens, Danielsville, is in charge of arrangements.
