James A. Forrester

James A. Forrester, 76, of Lexington, died Sunday, September 20, 2015. A native of Oglethorpe County, James was born to the late James Dennis and Haddie Jewel Forrester. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a son, James A. Forrester Jr. He is survived by his wife, Frances Tiller Forrester, sons, Roy Forrester (Amy) and James T. Forrester (Beverley), half sisters Mary Lee Russell and Dorothy Fleming, half brother Ralph Forrester, grandchildren Ashlie Forrester, Sydney Forrester, Joshua Lance, James T. Forrester Jr., and Jacob Forrester, and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 23rd from 6-8 P.M. with graveside service Thursday, September 24th at 2:00 P.M. at Bethany Baptist Church cemetery.
