James Henry Finch Jr

James Henry Finch, Jr. (Jimmy & Pops), 63 of Lula, Georgia passed away at home on September 13, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. Jimmy was a member of Webbs Creek Baptist Church. He was one of 9 children born to Lois Hebbard and the late James Henry Finch, Sr. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Weida Belle Morris. He is survived by his wife Debra Finch of 30 years and his 3 children; Michael Odom and wife Margaret Odom of Oglethorpe County, Heather Nolan of Lula, GA and Billie Jean Arnold of Fort Worth, TX. Jimmy had 9 grandchildren: Jeremiah Lusty, Macaylah Nolan, Peyton Nolan, Dalton Odom, Destinee Arnold, Cheyeene Arnold, Steven Arnold, Jr., Jordan Arnold and Alex Gooch. Jimmy is also survived by his sisters: Amber Wideman and Husband Mickey of Harlem, GA, Wanda Flanagan of Winterville, GA, Shirley Gentry and husband Berlon of Canton, GA, Connie Mallet of Houston, TX, Brenda Poss of Hull, GA, Freida Williamson and husband Henry of Hull, GA and one brother, Terry Finch of Comer, GA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and his "Eskimo Pie" He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather and will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 16, 2013 at 3PM at Oconee Chapel Funeral Directors with Rev. Chad Payne officiating. Pallbearers will be Michael Odom, Jeremiah Lusty, Warren Wideman, Jim McNeish, Gary Stewart and Terry Finch. Burial will follow at Oconee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 Sunday, September 15, 2013 at the funeral home. Oconee Chapel Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
