Athens - James O. Ferguson, 85, husband of the late Louise Hanson Ferguson, died Monday, August 28, 2007 at his residence.
Born in Whitehall, Ga., James was the son of the late James Willie Vester and Arris Alberta Little Ferguson. James served his country in the US Army during WWII and had retired from Martin Mechanical. He had attended Young Harris United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his brothers: Henry Ferguson and Cecil Ferguson, both of Athens; and seven nieces and nephews, as well as, numerous great-nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 1, 2007 at 11AM at Evergreen Memorial Park with Rev. Buford Lockman officiating.
Lord & Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
