James Alex "Jim" Davis

Jim Davis, age 50, passed away Sunday evening, July 19, 2015 in Bogart, GA. He was a dedicated husband to Kristin Davis for 20 years and proud father of Jimmy (26), Alex (25) and Zach (16). Jim was the only child to Jim H. Davis and the late Sandra Cronin.
Jim was the owner of Davis Tree Service in Bogart, GA. His legacy continues on with his sons running the family business.
He was a mentor and friend to countless people. He was strong, confident, kind hearted and generous. Jim had a contagious laugh and a smile that lit up the room. We will cherish the memories he gave us and will miss him dearly, until we meet again.
Jim was an active supporter of Future Farmers of America (FFA) and founder of the Oconee County 4-H shotgun team.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
