Hull - James Daniel Culp, 67, died Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Born in Lockhart, SC, he was the son of the late Dr. and Mrs. William Wallace Culp, Sr. He was also preceded in death by his brother William Wallace Culp, Jr. Dan was a graduate from Union High School, received his BS from Wofford College and his Master in Music from Indiana University. He was generous, caring and giving person that was always thinking of others.
Survivors include his brother, John Wesley Culp of West Columbia, SC, sister, Elizabeth Carter of St. Louis, MO and close friends Sara Castle and Alison Alloy.
All family and friends are asked to be together at Mrs. Sara's Home Cooking, 1965 W. Broad Street across from Red Lobster in Athens, Georgia. We will have a memorial service and share a meal at Dan's favorite place at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, March 23, 2006. Memorials may be given to his funeral expenses.
