James Harold Butler

James Harold Butler, 72, died April 20, 2014.
A native of Jefferson, GA, he was a son of the late Harold Scott and Jeanette Hale Butler. He retired in 2007 after thirty-seven years as owner and operator of Complete Carpet Center. A devout Christian and member of Calvary Baptist Church, he had served as Sunday School Superintendent and choir member. Mr. Butler enjoyed golfing, camping, trout fishing and was an all-around outdoorsman.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Lord and Stephens Chapel, WEST with Rev. Ronnie Healan officiating. Entombment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 7:00 until 9:00 PM.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-three years, Mary Louise Butler; four children, Janet (Joey) Conglose of Watkinsville; Scott Butler, Edward Butler and Thomas Butler; grandchildren, Cameron James Conglose, Candace Nicole Conglose, Ashley Butler, Zachary Butler, Stephanie Butler, Daniel Butler and Rebecca Butler; brother, Dennis Wayne Butler, niece, Lyanne Donohoe; nephew, John (Kate) Butler; great nephew, David Donohoe.
