James Robert Bramblett

James Robert “Bob” Bramblett, 85, husband of Nellie Rebecca Bramblett, died Thursday, August 20, 2020. Born in Lilburn, GA, he was the son of the late Carl Monroe Bramblett and Odessa Harvey Bramblett. Bob served as a member of the National Guard and retired as the Senior Vice President of Operations for Golden Pantry. He was an active member of Beech Haven Baptist Church, an avid golfer, loved to travel, and volunteer for community service including serving as president for the Oconee Rotary Club.
Mr. Bramblett was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers. Survivors in addition to his wife Nellie include; children: Cheryl Lambert (Steve) of Watkinsville, GA and Jimmy Bramblett (Anna) of Washington, D.C.; grandchildren Josh Lambert of Watkinsville, Stephen Lambert (Samantha) of Athens, Abby
Bramblett of Athens, and Mackenzie Bramblett of Watkinsville; he also had one great grandchild Maddux Lambert of Athens; and many nieces and nephews
A private memorial will be held at a later date. The family asks for donations to the charity of the donor’s choice be made in honor of Bob Bramblett in lieu of flowers.
