Bogart - James Dale Allen, 50, died May 29, 2007.
A native of Clarke County, he was a son of Bernice Llewallyn, of Winterville and the late James Carl "J.C." Allen. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Buford Loggins, and John and Gertie Allen, and sisters, Donna Lynn Allen and Barbara Allen.
Graveside services will be Thursday, May 31, 2007, at 3:00 PM, at Athens Memory Gardens with Rev. Tim Vaughn officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 2:00 until 5:00 PM and Thursday from 1:00 until 2:45 PM.
Survivors in addition to his mother include her husband, Garnett Llewallyn; daughter, Christina Lynn Allen, of Watkinsville; grandson, Joshua Taylor Allen; grandmother, Mary Loggins, of Winterville; special friend, June Kinney, of Bogart; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
