James Henry Adams, 76, died Thursday, May 11, 2006.
Born on April 29, 1930 in Lakeland, FL, he was the son of the late James Lester nad Minnie Harvey Adams. James served during the Korean War and later retired from Richard Russell Research Center in Athens, GA.
Services will be Saturday, May 13, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Oconee Chapel.
Pallbearers will be Mitch Adams, Ben Hayes, Clay Adams, Peter Gehrlich, Keith Childs and Alan Chandler.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Marie Childs Adams; daughter, Rhonda Adams Hayes; 2 sons, Jimmy Adams (Joan), Cliff Adams (Betsy) all of Watkinsville, GA, 2 brothers, Gene Adams (Betty) of Fayetteville and Armell Adams (Robbie Lee) of Baldwin, 5 grandchildren, 2 great granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM.
Oconee Chapel Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements.
