Danielsville - Ed Shelton, 46, died Thursday, September 23, 2010 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
A native of Athens, he was the son of Alma Jean Walls Shelton of Danielsville and the late Clarence L. Shelton. Ed enjoyed throwing darts and wood working.
Survivors in addition to his mother include two children: Hunter Cowart of Diamond Hill, Halee Nicole Shelton of Danielsville; brother: Mike (Joy) Shelton of Winterville; maternal grandmother: Mildred Ashworth of Hull; special friend: Connie Kirk of Danielsville as well as an aunt, uncle, nieces, nephews and Callie.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, September 26, 2010 at 2PM at Colbert Cemetery with Rev. Tac Coley officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Saturday, September 25, 2010 at the funeral home.
Lord & Stephens Danielsville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
