Athens - Jacquelin Whitehead Drewry, 83, passed away Friday, April 9, 2010.
A native of Oconee County, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Pearlie Lee Thomas Whitehead. She was a homemaker, mother, gardener, dressmaker and a member of Green Acres Baptist Church where she attended the open Fellowship Sunday School Class.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m., Sunday, April 11, 2010, in the chapel of Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, West, with Revs. Fred Roswell and Steve Hartman officiating. Burial will be in the Thomas Cemetery.
Survivors include children, Jackie (Jere) Thorne, Ann (Art) Markners, Alice Lee Tanner, Eleanor Kay Drewry and Luke (Robin) Drewry; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Jay Thorne, Clint Tyson, Jamie Tanner, Matthew Drewry, Hank Butler, Daniel Drewry and Wesley Tanner.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 p.m. thru 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
