Jack Evans

Jack E. Evans, 81, of Winterville, died Friday, January 20, 2017. Jack was born in Hart County to the late Gordon M. Evans and Belle Temple Evans. Jack served in the United States Army and later went on to work with Reliance Electric where he retired from after 30+ years. Mr. Evans was a member of Whitehall Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Winona Evans, children Greg (Jayne) Evans and Hoyt (Kristi) Evans, grandchildren, Will Evans, Kathryn Smith, Dillon Evans, Shelby Evans, and Colton Evans, and great grandson, Aiden Smith. The family will receive friends Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 5-7 P.M. Funeral service will be held Monday, January 23, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Lord and Stephens, East. Burial will take place at 3:00 P.M. at Nancy Hart Memorial Park in Hartwell. Lord and Stephens, East is in charge of arrangements. www.lordandstephens.com
