Athens - Jack Bleeker, 83, died Sunday, February 21, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital, Athens, GA.
Born in the Netherlands, he was the son of the late Jacobus and Margaret Stet Bleeker. He was the owner and operator of Bleeker Construction of PA. He was a veteran of the Dutch Army, Maryland Defense Force and member of the Lions Club.
Survivors include his daughter, Margaret Scanlan of Athens, GA, sons; Albert Bleeker of Hebron, MD, Hans Bleeker of Horsham, PA, four sisters, one brother and six grandchildren.
Private services will be held at a later date.
The family requests that memorials be made to the American Heart Association.
