Athens - Isabel E. Sawhill, 85, of Athens, Ga., died October 24, 2009.
She was the daughter of the late Elgin and Cora Lynch and was preceded in death by an infant son and by her sister, Evelyn Wood.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Lloyd G. Sawhill; a number of nieces and nephews and an extended family in Winterset, Iowa.
Funeral services will be Thursday, October 29, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Lord and Stephens, WEST. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint, Mich.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society.
Lord and Stephens, WEST, is in charge of arrangements.
