Irvin "Dee" DeArmond Burnett, Jr.

Irvin DeArmond Burnett, Jr., 77, of Bishop passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021. Born on December 5, 1943 in Laurel, Mississippi, he was the son of the late Irvin DeArmond Burnett, Sr. and Celia Mae Rowell.

Dee had a double Masters Degree and retired as a Principal with the Dekalb County Board of Education.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Larry & Garry Burnett. Survivors include his wife, Cassie Burnett; children, Brittany Burnett St. Philip (Carlo), Bryan Burnett (Heather); sister, Berniece Moss (Bruce); brother, Donice Burnett (Louann); grandchildren, Madyson Cook, Gracie Burnett, Judah Burnett, Owen Burnett, Quinn Burnett; great grandchild, Rylee Dee Cook; sisters-in-law, Kittye Slaughter (Dan), Donna Anderson (Fletcher), Ginny Bennett.

Due to Covid-19, no services will be held.
