Colbert - Irene Massey, 73, wife of the late Earl Massey, died Saturday, March 24, 2007 at Cobb Memorial Hospital.
Born in Oglethorpe, she was the daughter of the late Cleve and Cindi Helton Callaway. Mrs. Massey was preceded in death by two grandchildren.
She was a member of Grove Chapel Congregational Holiness Church.
Visitation will be held tonight, Sunday, March 25, 2007 from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
Survivors include her sons: William R. Gabriel, of Lexington, Randy Gabriel, of Colbert, Greg Gabriel, of Statham; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Monday, March 26, 2007 at 2PM at Lord & Stephens East Chapel with Rev. Bobby Callaway officiating. Burial will follow at Grove Chapel Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Gerrin, Gerry Gabriel, Cecil Gabriel, Arnold Callaway, Ricky Busbin, and Lee Wilson.
The family will be at the residence of her son, Randy Gabriel, of Colbert, Ga.
Lord & Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
