Ina Rumsey Hinesley, wife of the late Henry Arthur Hinesley, died Tuesday, March 04, 2008 at her residence.
Born in Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late H. H. Rumsey and Norma Poss Rumsey. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by one sister: Ruby Rumsey and two brothers: Charles and William Rumsey. She was a member of First Christian Church of Athens where she was a member of the BYKOTA Class. She had worked as a bookkeeper for Athens Hardware.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 6, 2008 at 2PM at First Christian Church of Athens with Revs. Ray Austin and Chris McCreight officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30PM until the time of the service at the church. Burial will follow at Prospect United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include her sisters: Una Russell of Athens, Mildred Hardman of High Shoals, many nieces, nephews as well as many great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Christian Church of Athens Building Fund, 268 West Dougherty Street, Athens, GA 30601.
