Statham - Ida Mae Yarbrough, 85, wife of the late William Robert "Pete" Yarbrough, died Monday, May 3, 2010 at her residence.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 6, 2010 at 11AM at Evergreen Memorial Park with Rev. Buford Lockman officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.
A native of Athens, she was the daughter of the late John and Lois Tanksley Teat. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ann Toney and brother Kenneth Teat. She was a homemaker and of the Holiness Faith.
Survivors include her children: Charlotte (Danny) Parten of Statham, Roy (Beverly) Yarbrough of Watkinsville; sisters: Jeanette Drake of Athens, Audrey Thomas of Gainesville, Colleen Ginn of Colbert, Rita Cooper of Athens; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
Lord & Stephens West is in charge of arrangements.
