Hugh "Palmer" Rehberg, Jr., 65, husband of Sharon “Sha” Wilson Rehberg, died Sunday, April 25, 2021. Born in Thomasville, GA, he was the son of the late Hugh Palmer Rehberg, Sr. and Emogene Shepard Rehberg. Palmer was a graduate of Shorter University and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He served at several churches across Georgia which included: First Baptist Church of Duluth, Fifth Avenue Baptist Church of Rome, Shirley Hills Baptist Church, Warner Robins and First Baptist Church of Winterville. In addition to his wife, survivors include one son: Brandon (Wendy) Rehberg of Winterville and five grandchildren: Kymberly Eberhart, Matthew Venable, Michael Rehberg, Benjamin Rehberg and Bentlee Rehberg as well as several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 23, 2021 at 3PM at Cornerstone Church of God with Rev. Rick Standard and Rev. Nathan Brandon officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Palmer’s memory.
