Colbert - Hugh Edward Haley, 69, husband of Margeretta Haley, died Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at his residence.
Born in Madison County, he was the son of the late Hugh Dorsey and Reba Fortson Haley. In addition to his parents, Hugh is preceded in death by his brother, Roger Lee Haley and sister, Betty Drake.
Survivors in addition to his wife include his son, Michael Haley and daughter in law Julie of Comer; sister: Bonnie Carey of Tennessee; grandchildren: Angelica Haley, Michelle Haley, Lauren Haley.
Funeral services were held Thursday, August 16, 2007 at 2PM at Lord & Stephens Danielsville Chapel with Rev. Glenn Guest officiating. Burial was at Nancy Hart Memorial Park, Hartwell, Ga. Visitation was held Wednesday evening.
Pallbearers were Jeff Chitwood, Keith Graham, Allen Guest, Philip Guest, Alex Andrews, Richie Dove.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shiloh Baptist Church, Danielsville, Ga.
Lord & Stephens, Danielsville, is in charge of arrangements.
