Danielsville - Hubert Chandler, 70, husband of Sara Chandler, died Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Born in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late Furman and Gladys Fowler Chandler. He was the owner of Chandlers Logging and was also a farmer. After retiring he set up a produce stand each year in Colbert on Hwy 172.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his son and daughter in law, Kenneth and Veronica Chandler of Comer, daughter and son in law, Susan and Jeff Ray of Danielsville, sister, Etheleen Braswell of Old Town, FL, and three grandchildren; Brooke Pilkington, Josh Chandler and Christopher Ray.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 9, 2006 at 2PM at Lord & Stephens Danielsville Chapel with Rev. Glenn Guest officiating. Burial will be held at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.
Flowers will be accepted.
