Howard McCannon, 77, died Friday, August 15, 2014.
A native of Crawford, Mr. McCannon was the son of the late B W McCannon and Lillian Gunner McCannon He was also preceded in death by his son, Larry W. McCannon and great grandson, Taylor McCannon. He worked for Jefferson Mills for 30 years and Overhead Door for 19 years.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Josephine Looney McCannon, sisters, Anne Carr, Sarah Bailey, Opihlia Compton, grandsons, Wayne Larry McCannon, Laramy Darrell McCannon and four great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Monday at Crawford Cemetery at 1PM with visitation one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
