Howard Louie Eidson

Howard Louie Eidson, 81, of Winterville, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2016.
Born in Athens, he was the son of the late Louie Macon Eidson and Thelma Little Eidson. Mr. Eidson was a truck driver for many years, and was also employed as a School Crossing Guard for Clarke County. He enjoyed watching westerns, working in the yard and cooking. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, J.L. Eidson and his grandmother who raised him, Sarah G. Eidson.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Ann Eidson; one daughter, Karen Denise; one sister, Mary Eidson; and cousins Louis and Latrelle Eidson.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Lord and Stephens, East. Interment will follow at Oconee Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 until 3:00 pm.
