Howard C. Brock

Howard C. Brock, 86, husband of 62 years to Connie Spence Brock, died Saturday, January 9, 2021. Born in Gainesville, GA, he was the son of the late Allen C. Brock, Sr. and Alma Anglin Brock.  Howard retired from Engineered Fabrication, Inc. He was a longtime member of East Athens Baptist Church where he served many years as a deacon.  Survivors in addition to his wife include two children: Ken (Denise) Brock of Milton, GA and Melanie (Mike) Lee of Winterville; sisters: Hazel Echols and Sue (Edward) Thrower; six grandchildren: Justin (Linsey) Lee, Todd Lee, Amanda (Ryan) Pope, Christiana (Matt) Weber, Kevin Brock and Kendrick (Lauren) Brock and two great grandchildren: Cora Lee and Ella Lee. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 11, 2021 at 2PM at East Athens Baptist Church with Rev. Robby Duvall officiating.  Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.   The family requests that anyone attending the service or visitation to wear masks and practice social distancing.
