Athens - Hosea Junior Thomas, 65, died Monday, April 4, 2011.
Born in Scottdale, GA, a native of Atlanta, GA, he was the son Willie James Thomas and the late Elizabeth Johnson Thomas. He was a security officer for ASA (Athens Security Agency) and member of Cornerstone Church of God where he was very active in Over Comers.
Survivors include his children: Angela Hamilton of Conyers, Anita Ivey of Ellenwood, Hosea Junior Thomas, III of Cobb County, Anthony Thomas of Decatur, Amor Thomas of Decatur; siblings: Margaret Jane Bolton, Willy B. Thomas, James Henry Thomas, Johnny Thomas, Larry Thomas, Diane Thomas, Bernice Thomas, Brenda Thomas; 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 12PM at Cornerstone Church of God. The family will receive friends Friday, April 8, 2011from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Secure Foundation, 1500 Farmer Road, Conyers, GA.
