Born in Annona, TX, he was the son of the late Eugene Thomas and Ava Lawson Davis.
Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Myers Davis, daughters; Sandy Mims of Athens, Judy Dufour of Simpsonville, SC, grandchildren; David Mims, Shelley Martin, Julie Hunter, Kathy Beach, Laurie Soenen, and great grandchildren, Grant Martin, Paige Martin and Tate Hunter.
Funeral services will be private.
Memorials may be made to the charity of oneís choice.
