Rayle - Hilda Annette Johnson, 77, died Friday, March 18, 2011 at her residence.
Born in Washington, GA, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Sanford and Mamie Elizabeth Callaway King and mother to the late Robert Charles Johnson. Mrs. Johnson retired from AAFES after 15 years and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband; Charles Lee Johnson; children: Teresa Ann Doolin of Goose Creek, SC, Sherrie Smith of Jefferson, Heidi Tidwell of Rayle; brother: Gerald King of Martinez; sister: Eunice Prince of Thomson; ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 21, 2011 at 2PM at Lord & Stephens Oglethorpe Chapel with Chaplain Hugh Minor officiating. Burial will follow at Clark Cemetery, Lexington, GA. The family will receive friends Sunday, from 4 to 6 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Odyssey Hospice or the American Alzheimer's Association.
