Henry David Harris

Henry David Harris, 59, died Friday, November 9, 2012.
He was born in Jesup, GA, October 22, 1953 to the late Pierce A. Harris, Sr. and Ercelle Anderson Harris. After graduating from Wayne County High School, he attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, GA where he played tennis on scholarship with the Golden Stallions of ABAC coached by Norman Hill.
Survivors include his brothers, Pierce A. Harris, Jr. (Susan) of St. Simons Island, GA and Ekalaka, MT, and John M. Harris (Misty) of Acworth, GA; his sisters, Pearl H. McLean and Mary E. Harris, both of Athens; his beloved nephews, Stuart McLean (Beth), Tavis McLean (Mandy), Major Harris, Ben Harris; and his great nieces, Kate McLean, Anna McLean, Molly McLean and Chelsey Harris.
The family will gather and receive friends at Tuckston United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 14, 2012. A graveside service will follow in the Tuckston Cemetery with the Rev. James Mooneyhan and Stuart McLean officiating.
