Henry David (bo) Herring

Comer - Henry David Herring, Sr.,74, husband of Bertie Lou Herring, died August 7, 2007
at Comer Nursing Home.
A native of Madison County, he was the son of the late Top Patterson and Lillie Mae Graham Herring. He was a regular attendee of Vineyard Creek Baptist Church. He retired from Madison County as a large machine operator in 1997.
In addition to his parents, Bo was preceded in death by his daughter; Brenda Herring; brother: Thurmond Herring; sister: Jewel Bryant.
Survivors in addition to his wife include; son: Henry David Herring, Jr. and daughter in law, Shelia, both of Comer; daughter: Nancy Louise Casper and son in law Kenny, both of Winder; brothers: Rufus Herring of Royston, Rayburn
Herring of Hull; six grandchildren, Sonya Cole, Amanda Herring, Amy Herring, Jennifer Herring, Henry David Herring III, Mathew Casper; great grandchildren, Kelsey Segars and Haley Cole and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2PM, Friday, August 10, 2007 at Vineyard Creek Baptist Church with Revs. James Creason and Larry Greene officiating. Burial will be at Vineyard Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be;
Terry, Gary, Dallas and Waymond Herring, Jamie Jones and Chester Bray.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.
Flowers will be accepted.
