Arnoldsville, GA - Henry Alexander Bingham, 81, died Wednesday, January 13, 2010.
Born in Blairsville, GA, he was the son of the late David Joel and Rosa Lee Osborne Bingham. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Youngblood Bingham, children, Rachael Doster, Henry Lewis Bingham and Ellen Tanksley. He retired from Chicopee Mills in Athens as well as a Deputy Sheriff in Banks County.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 10AM at Lord & Stephens East Chapel with Rev. Larry Phillips officiating. Burial will be held at Liberty Baptist Church, Blairsville, GA, Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 2:30PM.
Survivors include his children; Linda Thompson of Hull, Thelma Duncan of Banks County; sisters and brothers: Gladys Dover of Carlton, GA, Lily (Robert) Youngblood of Winterville, Essie Nutuschil of Albuquerque, NM, Katherine Davis of Evans, GA, David C. (Jean) Bingham of Kitty Hawk, NC, Jeanette Richardson of Blythe, GA and Emma Lou (Eugene Morgan) Davis of Lincolnton, GA and a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 15, 2010 from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
