Comer - Helen D. Reynard, loving mother and grandmother died on July 30, 2006. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Born in Johnson City, TN on May 6, 1921, she was the daughter of Oren Dugger and Lula Norris and was the widow of George Reynard. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. As a young woman she lived in Columbus, Ohio, where she met her husband. They married in 1957, moved to Charlotte, NC and then to Atlanta in 1960. After retiring, Helen and George moved to Athens and then to Comer to be closer to their family.
Mrs. Reynard is survived by her daughter Cynde Prescott-Reynard, son-in-law Joe Prescott-Reynard and grandson Storey Prescott-Reynard.
Funeral services will be at Holy Cross Lutheran Church on Wednesday, August, 2nd at 11:00 AM with Pastor David Hart officiating. Burial will be at Blue Moon Farm Family Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Holy Cross Lutheran Church or Friends of Madison County Library.
Friends and family may pay respects at the funeral home on Tuesday between 2:00 and 4:00PM.
