Helen Wray Clark

Helen Wray Clark passed away on May 18, 2023, at the age of 93, at the Greene Point Health and Rehab Center in Union Point, Ga.

She was born on November 30, 1929, in Maxey’s, Ga to the late Whitfield and Eula Wray. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Clark and best friend, Gene Channell.

She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia “Cindy” Clark; son, Daniel Wray; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.

Helen was a lifelong member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Greensboro, Ga. After working in retail for most of her life, she was a people greeter in the garden center at the Walmart super center on Lexington Road.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with a graveside service to follow at 2:00 PM at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. Her daughter will be hosting a celebration of life in the annex of Macedonia following burial.
